Hi I’m Jordan, Taradale Vets practice manager.

Recently, my role has transformed from head nurse to practice manager, which is an exciting career progression for me. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment where team members can grow and enjoy the lovely place Taradale vets is to work.

’I am what you call a lifer, part of the furniture, the vet nurse that’s been there for your pet’s whole lifespan, that’s 15 years and counting. I began vet nursing after a brief 3-year stint working in the beauty industry. I began working at Taradale Vet Hospital when I was 24 and have been surrounded by extraordinary talent ever since. Even though I sometimes I say I’ve seen it all, I end up seeing or learning something new every day.

I enjoy all aspects of vet clinic life, my favorite is being involved in the surgery and general practice nursing. I enjoy seeing patients and owners I have been able to build a relationship with over the years. I definitely have a soft spot for geriatric cats.

Outside of work, life revolves around my family, a four year old daughter Aspyn, 10mnth old baby Imogen, two tabby cats, and a Labrador. We enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting out and about & taking the dog for a walk.

I feel very lucky to work in a lovely clinic with an awesome bunch of people.
